We are currently seeking to appoint a Pupil Support Assistant to join our Primary and Early Years phases. Applicants should be flexible, show initiative and be able to work closely within our team of support and academic staff. The post holder will have a welcoming and friendly approach to visitors; have excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to changing circumstances, a willingness to work with others and the ability to think ‘outside of the box’.
Candidates should have GCSE English and Mathematics grade A–C or equivalent and should be proficient in IT or have relevant experience.
We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to support Teaching and Learning within the Academy. The position could be seen as an ideal transition to a career in teaching or similar and offers the opportunity to develop skills within a supportive education setting.
Hours of work:
The position is for 32.5 hours over 5 days. The position involves term time working for 39 weeks.
Role summary:
Cover lessons for absent colleagues;
Prepare and deliver work programmes to groups or individual pupils;
Assist with classroom activity;
Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational).

The Priory Ruskin Academy is looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and contribute towards the opportunities and experience of our students.
Student Support Assistants play a vital role in ensuring all of our students can effectively access the curriculum both in and outside the classroom. This vacancy would suit an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with students with special needs, supporting them to develop from both an academic and social perspective.
Applicants should be computer literate and have worked with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. GCSE English and Maths grade A-C, or equivalent, are essential. Previous experience of having worked with students with special needs would be desirable. This is a temporary contract in line with SEN funding, however there is no end date to the contract whilst funding is in place.

We wish to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our existing team. You will provide effective lunchtime supervision to the Waddington Redwood Primary Academy.
The successful candidates will have a genuine interest in providing the best experience for our children, be able to interact positively with them, be reliable and hard working.
They will be expected to take pride in their work, have good attention to detail and be able to work on their own initiative whilst working as part of a team. This post involves setting up and clearing the dining area and the ability to follow health and safety procedures is essential.
Previous experience of working in an education environment in a similar role is desirable but not essential. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for the opportunity to engage with pupils and staff.
