We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspiring Careers Co-ordinator to join our Academy. We are determined in our mission to improve the life chances of our students and we are equally committed to the wellbeing and development of our staff.
The opportunity to join the Academy at a time of significant development in terms of careers education is an exciting one.
The role will primarily involve coordinating the careers education for all students within the Academy. The role will also support the Head of Apprenticeships and Careers, Academy Careers Lead, and the Professional Learning’s central Careers Team to deliver career-related learning, including work-related learning, employer and business encounters, and work experience. Additionally, the role will be involved in post-16 and post-18 application processes.
The successful candidate will be passionate about careers education and employability, and the positive difference that can be made to the lives of our students.

The Student Support Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring all of our students can effectively access the curriculum both in and outside the classroom. This vacancy would suit an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with students with special needs, supporting them to develop from both an academic and social perspective.
Applicants should be computer literate and have worked with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. GCSE English and Maths grade A-C, or equivalent, are essential. Previous experience of having worked with students with special needs would be desirable. This is a temporary contract in line with SEN funding, however there is no end date to the contract whilst funding is in place.
